Exchange letter

Why, dear creator, thank you for checking this letter and, more importantly, for creating for me! I hope you can be inspired by my prompts, but if not, don't worry, have fun with your own ideas --and if we share some likes and you include them? All the better! But I'll be thrilled to check out your creation regardless. I'm also open to treats, they're great. My user is Kaanbaltla both on AO3 and SquidgeWorld.

If by any chance you don't know any of these fandoms and are reading/watching them for the first time and can't find them, don't worry, at the end of this letter I've added links to where to access the media. And content warnings, just in case.

Likes and DNWs

General Likes

Smut Specific Likes

Art Specific Likes

I'm not picky about art styles: cartoony/anime/chibi, realistic, symbolic, imitations/recreations (i.e. pin-up art, ghibli-style, etc.), I love them all!

Abstract art is amazing and literal depiction of the characters is amazing too. Don't worry too much about settings/backgrounds, a simple plain color background is fine!

All the general and smut likes as well as the DNWs apply to anything related to art.

General Do Not Wants

There are a few fandom-specific DNWs that'll be listed in the requested fandoms

Requested Fandoms

Spider-Verse Comics (MARVEL)

Requested characters/ships: Pavitr Prabhakar; Hobie Brown/Pavitr Prabhakar; Billy Braddock/Pavitr Prabhakar.

Fandom-specific DNW: Pavitr as top and/or dom.

You see, I love Pavitr. He's my underrated Spidey fave, and thus is my little black dress. He's a perfect candidate for some good ol' food porn, because he loves to eat so much, he's always hungry, always finding an excuse to eat, always making jokes about food (like inviting his enemies to eat and talk instead of fight). He's your typical Spider-Man who loves the attention but hates himself for loving it, a really good engineer and he also loves Bollywood.

As for the ships, okay... Hobie Brown/Pavitr Prabhakar. What I love about this particular ship is the dynamic: Genius Boy Tired of Antics and Bad Jokes/Idiot Who Loves To Annoy. The "Hobie, you're the worst Spider-Man" dialogue is the perfect nutshell. But they also share similarities: they fought evil CEOs more than once, they hate capitalism, all they care about is about making things right for theirs communities.

With Billy/Pavitr, the dynamic is more kinda Guidence Figure To Look Up To/The Genius Boy of the Group. Billy helped Pavitr when he was feeling down about being less of a Spider-Man, an expendable being, a mere echo of Peter Parker. So I'd like to think this gave an impression to Pavitr and he started really admiring Billy for that, specially after Billy lost his Universe during the Spider-Verse and started living on the Loomworld, all alone.

Prompts:

Accessing the media

Spider-Verse Comics (MARVEL)

This is a Spider-Man event (but really, I also say it's a franchise when MARVEL saw the dollar big big dollar signs this even got 'em), where the Spider-People of known and new universes form an Spider-Army to battle the villains in turn (first the Inheritors, Shathra the Spider-Wasp second, and the multiverse Sinister Squadron more recently) that want them all, well, dead. This franchise has been around since 2014 and it's still going. Convoluted as it is, since you have to jump from comic series to comic series, read the tie-ins and the aftermaths and oh my, why I'm all dizzy? It's long, like, 108 issues long (and I'm discounting things here!). So, uh, yeah. Long. I like it, because you can read it blindly and understand what's going on because they do explaing what the hell ins happening to first-timers (I was a first-timer after all). If you are interested in reading the whole thing, here's the main story and the important bits:

  1. Spider-Verse (2014). 33 issues. Reading order here.
  2. Spider-Verse II (2015). 5 issues. (Part of Secret Wars 2015, prelude to Web Warriors.)
  3. Web Warriors (2015). 11 issues.
  4. [Optional] Marvel Universe Ultimate Spider-Man Spider-Verse (2016). 4 issues.
  5. [Optional] Ultimate Spider-Man (serie), season 4, episodes 18 to 21.
  6. Spider-Geddon (2018). 23 issues. Reading order here.
  7. Spider-Man: Enter the Spider-Verse (2018). 1 issue.
  8. Spider-Verse (2019). 6 issues.
  9. End of Spider-Verse (2022). 12 issues. Reading order here.
  10. Edge of Spider-Verse (2023). 4 issues.
  11. Edge of Spider-Verse (2024). 4 issues.
  12. Spider-Society (2024). 4 issues.

HOWEVER, the characters and ship I'm requesting are super minor ones in the overall story and don't really... interact that much. So, if you are only interested in reading the media related to the characters, here's the list of issues and interactions that are enough to create something of them (because it sure was enough for me to ship 'em, LOL):

  1. This dialogue.
  2. This lovely interaction.
  3. The last pages of Spider-Geddon #0, mainly these ones.
  4. Spider-Verse II (2015) and Web Warriors (2015) (the latter for Noir/Pavitr and adding to Billy/Pavitr). 16 issues in total.
  5. Spider-Man: India Vol. 1 (2004) and Vol. 2 (2023). 9 issues in total.
  6. Spider-Punk Vol. 1 (2022) and Vol. 2 (2024). 9 issues in total.

Access: One can purchase the series in Amazon and even the Google Play Store for some of them. But if you don't have the money (or don't want to spend money because why'd you do that?), don't worry, I got you.

Requested characters/ships: Pavitr (solo), Hobie/Pavitr, Noir/Pavitr, Billy/Pavitr.

Querelle de Brest (novel/movie)

A more-or-less 300 pages long french novel, written by Jean Genet in 1945. 37 years later it got a film adaptation directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, simply titled "Querelle"; it's 1h 48m long. The story follows "Georges 'Jo' Querelle is a sailor on the cargo ship Le Vengeur. Querelle is also a thief, prostitute, opium smuggler, and serial killer. While he ostensibly kills for money, his primary motive for murder is the sheer, liberating pleasure he experiences from it; he kills to feel alive". (From Wikipedia)

Access:
The novel can be borrowed in English in the Internet Archive, purchased in Amazon or see where else to buy it in Google Books. (No money? Annas Archive.)
As for the movie, Just Watch says it's available in Prime Video and MAX. (Fuck streaming services? Here's a cool list.)

Content Warnings: Sadomasochism, period-typical homophobia, violence, prostitution, drugs, murder and anal sex where they mention poop because of course the author does.

Request characters/ships: Querelle (solo), Querelle/Anyone, Mario/Dedé.

Bike Boy Rides Again

It's a short comic, sequel for "Bike Boy", by ZACK/Oliver Frey. The story is quite simple: it's Emo Boy birthday and he's being an sad emo, when Bike Boy finds him and decided to help, wink wink. It's a rather sweet story with tender sex at the end, after a really funny and hot "misunderstanding".

Access: I can't find anywhere to purchase it, so this link to read it online will suffice. The prequel is also in that site.

Content Warnings: Rape attempt almost at the end (by drunkards). Also, the art style may not be the cup of tea for everyone.

Requested characters/ships: Bike Boy/Emo Boy.

Bravely Default

A Nintendo 3DS turn-based fantasy RPG by Silicon Studio, with multiple endings and multiple job types where you follow the lovely quartet of main characters (Agnès Oblige, Tiz Arrior, Edea Lee and Ringabel) in a quest to not let the world to fucking die. Know Final Fantasy? Yeah, like that. There are mysteries! And plot twists! And parallel universes fuckery!

Access: As per How Long To Beat, the main story is 55 hours long. There are several (with and without) comment playthroughs in YouTube, I recommend this one.

Content Warnings: None I can think of. Some degree of fanservice (with the costumes of the job types, for example) and Ringabel being a womanizer (that gets turned down every time, God speed).

Requested characters/ships: Ringabel/Tiz Arrior, Alternis Dim/Tiz Arrior.

The Arcana

The Arcana is a free-to-play mobile visual novel/dating sim. It follows the amnesiac MC (that can be you if you want to), who is a magician in a fantasy setting. The main story is about finding the truth about the death of Count Lucio of Vesuvia, finding along other secrets about the MC and the realms of the Major Arcana. The game has six routes Asra (The Magician), Nadia (The High Priestess), Julian (The Hanged Man), Muriel (The Hermit), Portia (The Star) and Lucio (The Devil). Each route has a Upright ending and a Reversed ending.

Content Warnings: Sometimes there are flashing lights and bright colors.

Requested characters/ships: Julian/Male Reader, Lucio/Male Reader.
